Maternity-for-Multiples
The most frequent question I hear from women expecting multiples (after ‘what should I eat?’) is what can I wear? Maternity clothes are designed for women expecting a single baby, and by early in the second trimester they don’t fit most women expecting twins, triplets, or quads.
For over a decade I’ve wanted to start a line of maternity clothing just for mothers of multiples—clothing that would be comfortable and practical, as well as fashionable. Clothes that would fit well at the shoulders, neckline, and sleeves, and be roomy where you need it most—at the waist. Well, 2011 was the year I finally launched my maternity line of clothes—and this first season began with six styles in four sizes. The fabric I’ve chosen is a buttery-soft knit blend of Modal and Spandex, in three versatile colors (taupe, plum, and black). The clothing is manufactured in Los Angeles.
The Spring/Summer line will be available in April, 2012, and includes sleeveless versions of the wrap top and wrap dress, and the pleated top and pleated dress in three beautiful colors (
celadon, mauve, and slate). Here's to looking fabulous!
